At City of Port Phillip we collect over 20,000 tonnes of landfill waste from households within the City each year. Food waste makes up 35 per cent of that waste. That figure can easily be reduced by composting and worm farming.

A worm farm is a fantastic way to minimise food waste by turning your organic kitchen waste into nutrient-rich fertiliser for your plants and soils. To make your journey into the wonderful world of worm farming a little easier we've made a series of videos that teach you everything you need to know.
