Solar Partnership PrograM

The City of Port Phillip is committed to addressing the low rates of rooftop solar installations across our municipality. The Solar Partnership Program has been developed to provide our residents, businesses and community organisations with a solar option that is credible and cost effective.

We are particularly keen to support apartment dwellers and businesses to overcome the barriers of installing solar.

The City of Port Phillip has a very low rate of rooftop solar installations compared to the rest of Australia. This Program reduces the up-front cost of installation and provides trusted advice and support to participants.

This initiative is being delivered through the Sustainable City Community Action Plan which outlines Council’s sustainability programs for the community.

Solar information sessions

There are two free information sessions to support business owners and apartment dwellers to understand more about the Program and solar energy. Expert sustainability consultants and our selected solar providers will be on hand to answer any questions.

  • Book your place at our free Information Session for Apartment Buildings. The Session on the 12 March 2019 is fully booked, due to popular demand we are providing a second session on 2 April 2019.
